A fusion of Moroccan touches and island living
The entrance door, deck, low table, bedroom shelves, and dresser were all carefully handcrafted by local artisans using solid island wood. Textured walls in soft earthy tones create a soothing atmosphere, and simply sitting on the sofa allows your mind to gently unwind.
Enjoy cooking with the island’s natural ingredients
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a high-speed blender and food processor. Why not pick up some locally grown island bananas and make a fresh smoothie? All dishware have been thoughtfully selected from Okinawan artists, choose your favorite pieces and enjoy the experience. We also provide additive-free seasonings, coffee beans, and organic herbal teas for your stay.
Organic choice
We try to choose natural materials throughout the house whenever possible. The linens include 100% cotton sheets and organic cotton towels. In the kitchen, you will find wooden utensils, and the seasonings provided are high-quality and free from additives. Our laundry detergent, shampoo, and other amenities are also made from natural ingredients.
There is a compost bin in the backyard. If you wish, please feel free to place your food scraps there and take part in a small eco-friendly practice during your stay.
In the garden, you will find guava and lemon trees, as well as herbs. If the timing is right, please feel free to pick and enjoy them.

Mt. Nosoko (Maapee), a beloved hiking spot known for its breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views, is just a short drive from the property. The “Nosoko Maapee Trailhead (short route)” is only an 82m ascent, taking about 20-30 minutes one way, an easy and refreshing hike with no special gear required.
The Nosoko area is also home to quiet, unspoiled beaches, and Nosoko Beach is just a 5-minute drive away.
You can also enjoy ocean activities nearby such as SUP, mangrove canoeing, and traditional Sabani boat experiences.

Just a 3-minute drive from the property, you can join a sabani sailing tour with MISAGO. The traditional sail-powered sabani boat was once an essential part of life in Okinawa, used for fishing and traveling between islands. Today, only a handful of sabani craftsmen remain, even in Okinawa.

About the Surroundings
Due to the surrounding natural setting, insects and small creatures may occasionally enter the house. All windows are fitted with screens; however, it is not possible to completely prevent their presence in this lush environment. Please note that we are unable to accept complaints related to insects, and we kindly ask for your understanding when considering your stay. Guests who are uncomfortable with insects may wish to consider a hotel or other urban accommodation. There are also goats living on the property across the way, and you may occasionally hear them. Their presence does not cause any noticeable odor.

Typhoon Cancellation Policy
The cancellation fee will be waived and a full refund will be issued in the following cases: • If your inbound flight to Okinawa is cancelled (this does not apply to return flights) • If we determine that staying at the property would be unsafe and request that you cancel your reservation For all other cancellations, the standard cancellation policy will apply. As we host only one group per day, we kindly ask that you notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel.
