"Hidden Forest Sauna" - All you'll find here is the forest, a clear stream, and a sauna...
A luxurious sauna with a clear stream as the cold water bath, a sauna where you can spend time quietly in nature.
The sauna hut is available for private rental by the hour, so enjoy a special and peaceful time in your private sauna.
Located in the forests of Gunma's Joshu region, this "natural sauna" is conveniently located just a little over an hour away from the city.
This "small sauna facility" seeks the origins of sauna, the source of sauna. In pursuit of the ultimate sauna, we have built the forest and the hut ourselves, striving for a handcrafted space.
A sauna where you can feel nature in the forest, immerse yourself in the clear stream, and enjoy the charm of nature.
No need for the attentive service of a hotel or the convenient amenities of a tourist destination.
Nothing extra, just a place to simply enjoy nature and a sauna.
Relax in the "wood-fired sauna," calm your mind in the "river sauna," and unwind in the "forest sauna." When it's all over, return to your true self.
Reserve your own sauna hut and enjoy a relaxing, quiet sauna time with a loved one, friends, or family.
A natural river is your cold water bath!
You're just five seconds away from the clear stream in front of you, and you'll enjoy a "gift from the earth" in the form of a natural cold water bath.
As you immerse yourself in the gentle shallows, dive into a deep pool, and be splashed by a small waterfall, you'll experience the feeling of becoming one with nature and feeling "in tune."
The softness of the natural water on your skin, the subtle scent of water infused with forest nutrients, the comfort of feeling the flow of the river on your body, and the unique sensation of natural water seeping into your very being.
The bliss of immersing your entire body in water that can only be described as of the finest quality for a sauna cold water bath.
Experience symbiosis with nature, a sense of oneness with the forest, and a new level of relaxation as you interact with the clear stream and water bath...
In our wooden sauna hut, you can sweat leisurely amid the beautiful dancing flames of the wood-burning stove, the crackling sounds of the firewood, and the soft warmth of the firewood.
The sauna hut is dimly lit, the aroma of burning firewood wafts through the air, and the sounds of the mountain streams fill the air as you relax and enjoy the ultimate sauna experience.
Sauna is... "a journey into your inner self."
If you're ready, we look forward to seeing you.

Spring: March-April, Water Temperature 5°-10°
A sauna in the crisp weather before the cherry blossoms bloom is exceptional.
In early spring, when your body and mind are itching to move, you can almost hear your heart rejoice as your long-awaited sauna trip arrives.
Sinking into water temperatures in the single digits will bring you to a deep state of "totonoi."
Early Summer: May-June, Water Temperature 10°+
As the seasons change, the forest turns green and the riverside is covered in green, filling the air with the scent of vegetation. The moment you leave the sauna room, a strong aroma stimulates your nostrils. Surrender yourself to the clear stream in the thick, green-scented air and fully enjoy the pure, natural water seeping through your skin. The rich scent of the forest will lure you deeper into an extraordinary state of "totonoi."
Rainy Season: Water Temperature 10°-15°
"Rainy Una" - The comfort of a rainy sauna. Leaving the sauna room, raindrops caress your skin. The joy of bathing your entire body in a natural shower.
Feeling the rain on your skin while bathing in the open air feels so good. Turning your face toward the sky while immersed in the river is soothing. Listening to the sound of rain quietly conveys the charm of nature. At night, the dancing fireflies are a beautiful rewarding sauna experience.
Midsummer: July-September, Water Temperature 15°-20°
Even in the quiet forest, the relentless heat hits you relentlessly. Strangely enough, the heat of the sauna room feels comfortable. Dripping with sweat, escaping into the clear stream creates an indescribable "comfort" that's a whole different kind of "totonoi" (relaxation). This is a uniquely pleasant sauna experience.
Surrendering yourself to the flow of the river and "totonoi" (relaxation) in the river is a new sensation, unique to outdoor saunas and not found in ordinary saunas.
Autumn: October–November, Water Temperature: 6°–12°
The forest turns vibrant with autumn leaves. The vibrant colors of nature that greet you upon leaving the sauna are soothing and soothing, helping you forget your daily routine.
Fallen leaves floating on the river add a vibrant glow to the clear blue waters of the "cold bath." The soothing sensation of soaking in the water while gazing at them is a luxurious experience, bringing peace of mind.
Early Winter: December–February, Water Temperature: 0°–5°
Leaving the piping hot sauna room heated by a wood fire, you'll find yourself surrounded by sub-zero forest air. Breathing in the cool air immediately, your toasty body instantly absorbs the refreshing forest air. This alone is enough to "get you in the zone."
The clear waters of the cold bath are also just below freezing. As you immerse yourself in the water, your body mysteriously heats up from within, making bathing in the sub-zero air feel even more comfortable.
This takes the "totonoi" experience, one of the wonders of saunas, to a new level.
*What's next...
An outdoor sauna is a sauna to be enjoyed in nature. It's a style of sauna that can only be experienced in nature and would not exist without it. Rather than just enjoying the sauna, we need to strive to operate the facility in a way that minimizes environmental impact and is in harmony with nature, so that it can continue into the future.
We hope to develop a sauna culture that is thought about and nurtured not only by the facility staff but also by visitors and customers.
