DENIM HOUSE BON

Kojima, Kurashiki - Japan’s denim capital overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Experience exclusive use of an entire building within the city, combining an accommodation facility and showroom.

Overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, “DENIM HOUSE BON” is located in Kojima, Kurashiki, the birthplace of domestic denim.

Follow an old, narrow path from the station to find a building of over 90 years, nestled within a quiet residential area.

The old wooden house, cherished for generations, has been transformed into an accommodation facility, embodying fresh perspectives and creative visions.

Upon entering, you will notice the spacious earthen-floored area. We offer two different bedrooms, both with plenty of sunlight, along with a dining room ideal for heartfelt conversations. Denim material is applied to various parts of the interior.

The earthen-floored area provides a relaxed and spacious setting for everyone to gather.

Bedroom “EN” features an engawa (wooden-floor veranda) where morning sunlight pours in.

Bedroom “YO” is minimalistic yet it is illuminated by the setting sun, and adjacent to it is a Japanese-style room.

The eat-in kitchen is well-equipped with cooking utensils and a wine cellar. Wine is available for purchase by the bottle.

Further into the facility is a warehouse with denim products available for purchase on the first floor and a gallery on the second floor. We showcase ITONAMI’s original products, a denim brand operated by BON, and introduce various activities we take part in.

This place has been created with all our heart, in the hopes that you will spend a relaxing time with close friends while enjoying the food, craftsmanship, and of course the charm of denim from Okayama Prefecture.
