Our kominka -KOJIROYAMA- is a perfect rental option for families and groups of friends.

The restoration project of our kominka was overseen by Alex Kerr, a renowned Japanologist, and East Asia researcher.

Kojiroyama is divided into two parts: the stylish and spacious lounge and dining area, and the traditional Japanese tatami room area.

The lounge area is nicely furnished and is great for dinner gatherings. It has a grand piano too.

The other side of the house has a raised floor. Here you will find traditional Japanese-style rooms.

Once you take out the futon mattresses in the evening the tatami rooms are transformed into a bedroom.

Kojiroyama can accommodate up to eight guests. It has a bathroom with a spacious bathtub, a separate shower room, and two toilets.

The rental fee for Kojiroyama is charged per group and not per person (later is the case for other kominka) making Kojiroyama a very budget-friendly option.

--All of our kominka have wifi.

-The supermarket is within a walking distance.

-The pickup service is not provided for Kojiroyama and you will have to rent a bicycle or a car to get there. There is also a daytime taxi service available in Ojika.
