Bookings for the 1-night plan are available starting 90 days before your stay.

A delightful plan that lets you reserve all of mui exclusively — offering a slightly more affordable rate and more ways to enjoy your stay.

By choosing this private plan, you can stay at a special rate, 12,000 yen less than the standard price.

At mui, we recommend staying for two nights or more to fully experience not only the inn but also the rich nature and gentle rhythm of the surrounding community.

Guests staying two nights or more can enjoy even greater value.

For Families

Each room has two double beds (two double-sized futons can be laid out on the tatami in one of the rooms), and one additional single futon can be laid out.

*Children 12 years old and younger may only stay in Room D.

For Groups

Each room is independent, allowing you to keep your private space, while at the same time you can make the most of the common space with a shared Irori fireplace and a large wooden bench.

In the evening, you can enjoy a BBQ or a bonfire around the Irori fireplace, or you can arrange a Sanshin (Okinawan guitar) performance as an optional extra.

This plan is recommended for small groups or friends who want to enjoy time together.

For Work or “Work-ations”

All rooms are equipped with internet (IPv6 IPoE connection) with stable speed (free WiFi).

*For security reasons, each device cannot communicate directly via the facility's WiFi.

USB power socket also available on the dining table.

It’s a special space and an unusual environment that is good for team building or small training camps.

Guests can enjoy specialty drip coffees, delicious Okinawan craft beer and light meals made with sausages and ham carefully made from Okinawan pork using traditional German methods (extra charge).

NOTES

The café is open to guests other than staying guests on weekdays from 1pm to 5pm. Please contact us if you wish to reserve the café for your own during those hours as well.

・ With this plan, you can reserve 4 rooms and save 4,000 JPY per night.

・ Please note that Room D is the only room where children can stay, and if you enter the number of children in more than one room, the reservation date will not be displayed correctly.

Facility Precautions

Can we leave early in the morning?

You can check out early in the morning. If you wish to check out before 8am, please let us know in advance.

Can you store our luggage before or after check-in?

We can hold your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Please keep any valuables with you. As there may be times when we are away from the property, please be sure to contact us in advance if you would like to leave your luggage.

Can we stay with children?

Small children can only stay at Aohoshi. There is no additional charge for bed-sharing for children (from 0 to 1 years old), but an additional charge of 3,000 JPY will be charged for the addition of a single futon. Please note that payment can only be made locally. (*Credit card payment accepted)

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, pets are not allowed.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not permitted inside our facilities. Smoking areas are available outside. Please only smoke in the designated areas.

Is parking available?

One parking space per group is available. *We recommend using Google Maps for directions since mui is not registered in the car navigation system.

Amenities

To be environmentally friendly, we do not provide disposable amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, shower caps or razors. Please also note that we do not provide robes. For the same reason, we do not change linens and towels during your stay, however for long-term guests, we will ask your preference at the time of check-in.

Check-in time

Check-in time is from 15:00 to 22:00. but From 17:00 to 20:00, basically if there is no check-in time specified, we will be absent.If there are any changes from the scheduled check-in time given at the time of your reservation, we would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance. Check-in after 22:00 is generally not accepted. If you have unavoidable circumstances, please contact us in advance. Our lodge is run by a small number of people, so we appreciate your cooperation.

Recommended places and shops around mui are posted on our website, so please take a look. https://mui.okinawa/around-mui/ Also, there are no supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance. If you come by taxi or bus, we recommend that you procure it on the way. Please feel free to contact us if you need help.

Precautions when staying with children

mui is not a lodge designed for children, so there are steps and stairs that are dangerous for small children. Please keep an eye on your children when staying with them. In addition, works by creators, custom-made furniture and designer chairs by craftsmen are all works that we want to use for a long time. Please handle with care as we may charge you for any damages.

Cancellations Due to Typhoons or Severe Weather

If your scheduled flight on the day before, the day of, or the day after your stay (3-day window) is officially cancelled by the airline due to a typhoon or other severe weather, we will waive the cancellation fee. Please present documentation or a screenshot confirming the flight cancellation at the time. For cancellations due to other reasons, our standard cancellation policy will apply.

Breakfast & Optional Items

If you would like to have breakfast, please let us know by the evening of the previous day. Please note that some breakfast options may not be available on the day of, so if you have a preference, we recommend selecting it as an option at the time of booking. Other optional items can also be ordered on the day, depending on availability. However, please note that we may not be able to provide certain items due to stock shortages or preparation requirements. Thank you for your understanding.

Early Check-in (with extra charge)

Early check-in is available from 14:00, one hour earlier than usual, only with prior notice. An additional fee of 2,000 JPY will be charged.
