LAMP Bungo Ono is the "difficult to reach in Japan" lodging and sauna.
This place is registered as both a "UNESCO Eco Park" and a "Japanese Geopark".
It is one of the few places in Japan with magnificent nature.
The road to get there is surprisingly long and winding.
We consider that time to be a reset time before coming to LAMP.
I choose a slightly far away place to get away from my busy daily life and prepare for returning to nature.
This building is a renovated elementary school that closed in the 1960s.
It started as LAMP Bungo Ono in 2017.
Many of the interior decorations are DIY-made.
Don't force yourself to do anything, it's okay to spend your time in a daze.
You can also read the books you brought with you.
Please relax at your own pace.
Enjoy a peaceful time in a space that heals the fatigue of your travels.
There are 9 rooms in total, including private rooms, bunk beds, and Japanese-style private rooms, and can accommodate up to 70 people.
During the day, enjoy outdoor experiences such as mountain climbing and sauna. At night, enjoy experiences that can only be enjoyed here, such as game dishes and a bonfire.
Please take a rest and enjoy the sounds of nature.

サウナ、宿泊のお客様、お食事はすべて ＜事前予約制＞ となっております。予約時にオプション追加を必ずしてください。なお仕込みの関係上、食事を希望される場合は＜3日前＞までの予約が必須となります。

周辺にコンビニやスーパーなどのお店はありますか？
山奥のため周辺にお店はございません。自炊やBBQの買い出し、食事の事前予約をされてないお客様は必ず道中のお店でご購入後お越しください。最寄りのコンビニ・スーパーは車で40〜45分です。(竹田町or豊後大野市緒方町エリア) 営業時間もイレギュラーなのでチェックイン後の買い出しはおすすめ致しません。
高千穂観光したいのですが、どのくらいかかりますか？
LAMP豊後大野から天の岩戸神社、高千穂峡までは車で約1時間です。
食材を購入して自炊はできますか？
お客様用の共用キッチン・フリースペースをご用意しております。 冷蔵庫、湯沸かし器(電気ケトル)、電子レンジ、お客様用食器類(数に限りあり)、ガス台がございます。 なお、食材は周辺に購入できるお店がありませんので、緒方町中心部などで購入しチェックイン下さい。
サウナに必要なものはありますか？
水着着用のサウナになりますので、ご持参ください。 またサウナエリアは屋外になりますので、秋冬は特に 各自上着や羽織れるもの(ポンチョなど )もあると良いかと思います。 下記、受付にてレンタルもできます。 入浴料に含むもの ・タオルセット(バスタオル/フェイスタオル) ・サンダル ※サウナ小屋の前にはフリードリンクでお水もございます。 レンタル品 ・男性水着 ¥500 ・女性水着 ¥500 ・サウナポンチョ ¥500
