Ginza-machi is the oldest street in Atami. The Atami Ginza shopping street is an area full of charm, with dried fish shops that have been around since 710, Showa-era retro coffee shops, and new stores such as the popular Atami Pudding Cafe 2nd and Cafe Bar, where locals and strangers alike gather without borders.

In the middle of such a shopping street is a guesthouse that acts as a town information center. That is "guest house MARUYA".

The concept is "Staying here will make you feel like you've become addicted to Atami."

The guesthouse offers a variety of plans to make the most of Atami even if you are traveling alone, such as breakfast with dried fish from a dried fish shop in the shopping arcade grilled on the grill, and a guided tour of the retro and deep town by the staff. (Some plans are suspended due to the prevention of new corona infection.)

Atami Sun Beach with a view of the ocean is a 3-minute walk away. There are also affiliated day-trip hot spring facilities, so we recommend a mid- to long-term stay for a relaxing chill time.

Spacious lounge, capsule-type bedrooms with locks

The lounge and kitchen of guest house MARUYA's shared space are more spacious than those of a typical guest house, and can be used for a stay for freedom, such as spending time relaxing or working.

All bedrooms are capsule type with locks so that those who are not comfortable with dormitories or women traveling alone can stay in a guesthouse with peace of mind.

The upper level is 180cm high to the ceiling, so even men can stand up. The lower tier, on the other hand, has no ladder to go up or down, so it is easy to get in and out. Please choose the one you prefer at the time of reservation. (There are differences in height depending on the room.)

There are four types of rooms. All rooms have different wallpaper and flooring materials, and we hope you will enjoy a different atmosphere each time you stay with us.

Standard Single" is slightly larger than a futon.

Premium Single" is slightly larger than two futons (with a low table for working)

Standard Twin" is a capsule-type room that can accommodate two futon beds.

Standard triple" (air-conditioned) with bunk beds in a private room.

Enjoy the warmth of daily life in Atami, not as a tourist.

What we want you to experience at guest house MARUYA is not Atami as a sightseeing spot, but "everyday Atami". You will make new acquaintances in the shopping street. You will have a favorite restaurant. We would be happy if you can feel the warmth of the people who live in Atami and gradually become addicted to Atami.
