Stay between travel and everyday life.
A Kyoto machiya, limited to four groups per day.

Unwind into your time away.
Step just beyond the city’s noise,
and pause.
At night, be wrapped in the gentle scent of hinoki.
In the morning, wake with soft light.
Brew a cup of tea,
and savor the stillness.
Who you share it with
turns the same night
into something quietly different.
Space
While honoring the character of a traditional Kyoto machiya,
the space is shaped by the warmth of wood

Traces of its past remain,
as time flows quietly and unhurried.
The lantern is crafted by Kojima Shoten, a long-established Kyoto shop with roots dating back to the Edo period.

Spending your time according to how you feel is part of the experience.
