For guests who prefer to savor local flavors while exploring the town:
Around HOTEL Mio in the shopping arcade, there are many restaurants run by locals.
Enjoy discovering your favorite eatery as you wander through the nostalgic streets.

Hot Spring

Shimabara Onsen (carbonated spring water) is supplied directly to the bathtubs in each guest room.
Relax and enjoy a soothing soak at any time during your stay.

Rooms

For stays with 3 or more adults, an additional futon will be provided.
Please note that as the futon is laid out by moving furniture, the sleeping space will be somewhat limited.
For stays of 3 nights or fewer, housekeeping service is not provided during your stay.
If you would like fresh towels or amenities replenished, please inform our staff.

Children

Children 12 years and under may stay free of charge when sharing a bed (no meals or bedding included), up to 2 children per room.
Breakfast (same as the adult menu) can be added as an option for bed-sharing children.
Guests 13 years and older will be charged the adult rate.
Children 12 years and under who require bedding will also be charged the adult rate.

If you would like to arrange dinner for children, please contact the property in advance. We will provide details individually.

Facility Information

Our inn is a renovated 170-year-old traditional wooden townhouse, carefully preserved to retain its historical character.
Please note that there are stone paths and steps leading to the guest room entrances, and the property is not fully barrier-free. We kindly ask for your understanding.
