The Earthboat is a trailer house style accommodation designed for you to spend time comfortably amidst nature.

During your stay, you get to build your own fire for the sauna and the wood-burning stove, enjoy conversations while gazing at the view, and simply feel the breeze. Pets are welcome to join you. It’s a truly special room that offers such a unique experience.

＜The Sauna Room＞

Each Earthboat comes with its own dedicated sauna.

This is a new experience even for sauna facilities: you get to be the one to light the fire! Because of this, you can use the sauna at any time you like and as many times as you wish during your stay.

Not only can your pets join you in the room, but they can also join you inside the sauna!

＜Complimentary Coffee Maker Set＞

You’ll find a full set of coffee makers in your room. Enjoy making your favorite brew and savoring a cup while relaxing in the outdoor cooling area (Gaikiyoku).

＜Bedroom＞

In addition to a kitchen, shower room, and toilet, the room is furnished with a fluffy Queen-sized bed. When you feel tired, you can enjoy a deep sleep. Waking up a little early the next morning for a refreshing walk is highly recommended!

You can enjoy the Lake Nojiri Dive from May to around September! Try floating in this huge natural cold bath. It’s the perfect way to become one with the great outdoors.

Right next door is “The Sauna,” LAMP's proud authentic Finnish wood-fired sauna.

• During your stay, you can enjoy the Earthboat sauna by adding wood yourself.

• After checking out, you can delve into the world of Finland at this neighboring sauna.

This combination of a Finnish sauna and the hands-on experience of lighting your own fire provides a genuinely luxurious and authentic sauna journey, unique to LAMP Nojiriko.

• Price: ¥4,800 per person (Reservations for 2 or more people required)

• Reservation Deadline: Due to food preparation, we cannot accept last-minute reservations. Reservations open one week before the restaurant usage date.

Earthboat Stay Flow

The check-out time for Earthboat Nojiriko is extended by one hour to 11:00 AM, allowing you to relax and enjoy a leisurely morning.

We provide essential items like swimsuits, towels, and ponchos for the sauna, and the restaurant is conveniently located right next door.

Experience a stress-free outdoor trip—no need to bring much—and enjoy a luxurious sauna journey while immersing yourself in the magnificent nature!

Pet Policy

＜Pet Accommodation Fee＞

A flat fee of ¥2,000 per night will be charged. * There is no limit on the number of pets.

＜Pet Amenities＞

The following set is provided per pet:

1. Wet Wipes (10 sheets)

2. Pet Sheets (2 sheets per pet)

3. Lint Roller Set (1 roller)

4. Food & Water Bowls

5. Pet Mat

At Earthboat Nojiriko, we have established the following Pet Policy to ensure all guests have a safe and comfortable stay. Please be advised that we may have to refuse accommodation if this policy is not followed.

1. Pet Requirements

• ⚫︎Pets must be house-trained and sufficiently well-behaved.

• ⚫︎Pets must be in good health, not in heat, and not pregnant.

• ⚫︎The following vaccinations must have been received within the last year:

  • Dogs: Rabies vaccination and 5-in-1 mixed vaccine (or higher).

  • Cats: 3-in-1 mixed vaccine (or higher).

• Flea and tick prevention and treatment must have been completed.

2. Rules in Guest Rooms and Facilities

⚫︎Please refrain from shampooing, grooming, or brushing your pet inside the guest room.

• ⚫︎Leashes are not required inside the guest room. However, pets must always be on a leash or in a crate when moving around the facility grounds.

• ⚫︎Please wipe your pet's paws before entering the room after going outside.

• ⚫︎Please be considerate of other guests by managing your pet's barking or noise.

• ⚫︎Please do not leave your pet unattended in the guest room.

3. Compensation for Damages and Responsibilities

• ⚫︎If any soiling or damage occurs to the facility, you will be billed for the costs required to restore it to its original state (cleaning fees, repair fees, replacement costs, etc.).

• ⚫︎If your pet has an accident inside the room, the owner is responsible for cleaning it up. You must also inform the staff immediately where the incident occurred. If additional measures are required (due to odor, etc.), you will be responsible for the actual costs incurred.

• ⚫︎If pets cause damage to each other or to the belongings of other guests, the parties involved are responsible for resolving the matter.

• ⚫︎The hotel accepts no responsibility for any injury, death, theft, escape, or accident involving your pet during the stay.

4. Other

While there are no restrictions on the breed, size, or number of pets at this location, some of our other locations may have limits. Please check the specific notes on each location's page before booking. By booking, you are considered to have agreed to this policy.

5. Request for Understanding and Cooperation

Our hotel is also used by guests without pets. We kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure all our guests can have a comfortable stay.

How to Use/Spend Time at Earthboat

Q. I’d like to stay with 4 adults. Is this possible?

A. We only provide a Queen-sized bed (for 2 guests) and one extra futon (for 1 guest), so we cannot accommodate 4 adults. If you wish to stay as a group of 4, please book two Earthboat units.

Q. I’d like to stay with 2 adults and 2 children. Is this possible?

A. This is possible depending on the children's ages. Children aged 5 and under are not charged if they co-sleep, so 4 people (2 adults, 2 children) can stay.

Q. I’d like to stay with 3 men. Can I request another extra futon set?

A. Each unit is equipped with two sets of extra futons. While it might be a little snug, it is possible to lay out both.

Q. If I bring a pet, what areas can we access?

A. Generally, all areas, including the sauna room, are accessible to pets. However, please be aware that customers will be responsible for any damage caused by pets to furnishings, walls, or floors. Please check the Pet Policy for details.

※ Important Note on Payment at the Time of Booking ※

1. Payment will be processed from the card registered at the time of booking on the day after your usage date.

2. Even if your card has available credit at the time of booking, if you exceed your credit limit before the usage date, the reservation may be automatically canceled. Please be extremely careful about your card's credit limit.

3. If your reservation is automatically canceled, you will receive a notification email. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please adjust your credit limit or rebook using a different card.
