CITAN is our brand new seven stories hostel located in Higashi-nihonbashi.
Our first floor includes a cafe welcoming all local and foreign customers. Our basement lounge includes a full bar with beers and cocktails from around the world and a tasty dinner menu.
Nihonbashi was the initial starting point of Gokaido during the Edo era where five major highways connected Edo(current Tokyo) to the rest of Japan in which many journeys began in this town.
CITAN aims to be the starting point of every journey that connects the city and people in present time.
HOSTEL

From the 2nd floor to the 7th floor, CITAN offers a total of 130 beds with 6 different types of rooms to select from such as mixed dormitories, female dormitories, twin beds, queen sized and king sized beds.
Most of these rooms feature customized and specially made beds and wide windows for sunlight to ensure you have a good night’s sleep.
BERTH COFFEE

Our coffee bland “BERTH COFFEE” is located right at the entrance which is always filled with a flavorful aroma of coffee beans. We will color your day with our range of carefully selected beans by our talented baristas.
BAR & DINING
Includes a full bar, dining, and DJ’s music on the weekend
Our bar and dining area located downstairs at our basement. We have a wide selection of wine, beers on tap, and cocktails with wide price range. We also serve a variety of mouth pleasing food catering to people from different backgrounds.
On weekends, we host lounge-style DJs and live music with invited artists.
Many of the events are entrance-free, so you can enjoy the best music of the night as an extension of your casual visit for drinks.
The charm of CITAN is the live music that envelops the entire place. Please come to the lounge on weekends to experience a special time.

Regarding Check-in Time
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Please note that we are unable to accept check-ins after 11:00 PM. As the main entrance will be closed at night, we kindly ask that you arrive no later than 11:00 PM.
Regarding Group Reservations
A maximum of 12 guests per group may stay at our property. Even if multiple reservations are made under different names, they will be considered one group. For reservations of 13 guests or more, a separate group cancellation policy will apply. Please contact us in advance so that we can provide you with the relevant details. Please also note that if a reservation for 13 or more guests is made and we do not receive a response to our inquiry within 5 days, the reservation will be cancelled.
Regarding the Maximum Length of Stay
The maximum length of stay is 31 nights (one month).
Regarding Smoking Areas
Our property is entirely non-smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas. Please use the designated area provided.
Regarding No-Show on the Day of Check-in
If you fail to arrive on the day of check-in without prior notice (no-show), all reservations will be cancelled by the property. Please also note that cancellation fees will apply in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Regarding Dormitory Room Allocation
When staying in a dormitory room as a group, please note that your group may be assigned to separate rooms depending on availability, other group bookings, long-term stays, or at the discretion of the property.
Regarding Liability for Damages
If a guest causes damage to the property of the hostel through intentional or negligent actions, the guest will be responsible for compensating the hostel for such damages.
